Static at Gavilon
After getting the grout for the parking lot and ground foam base down at Gavilon I applied a layer of static grass. Things are really greening up there now, which shouldn't surprise me as it's a fertilizer distributor?
That's looking really good Allen. Static grass is one thing I have not tried yet but seeing your results it is something I do want to try out in the near future.
Thanks Brad! The application is relatively simple, but finding the right colors was the hardest thing I had to overcome. But I'm still experimenting as well. I've tried the cheapo battery operated homemade jobbies, another that I got off of eBay that works good for $40 that used a 9V battery and recently I acquired (what I used in Haskell and Gavilon) the new Woodland Scenics version. It can use a battery or 110V. I had my doubts about it when I first pulled it out, but it seems to do a good job, better than the other two. Instead of having a metal screen like most you see, it uses a plastic screen.
